DMX's camp is speaking out on the rapper's latest brush with the law. 

In a statement to, the rapper's rep, Domenick Nati, points out that "no drugs were found on DMX or the other passengers."  Nati also claims that the marijuana was "never shown" to DMX or the other passengers. 

DMX was taken into custody in Greer, South Carolina Tuesday night after police pulled over the vehicle in which he was a passenger, for allegedly making an illegal lane change.  During the traffic stop, police allegedly found marijuana in the vehicle.  
The driver was cited for marijuana possession. 

According to, police picked up DMX for an outstanding warrant stemming from a previous driving-without-a-license charge.  He was released Wednesday morning and placed on house arrest.
