Flooding In SoFlo Possible Again Due To King Tides

South Florida’s coastal residents should again be preparing for potential flooding due to King Tides.

Occurring when the sun, moon and earth align or during a full moon or new moon cycle, areas such as Miami Beach and Coastal Broward County could be seeing King Tide effects as early as Thursday.

High tides on Hollywood Beach are scheduled for 8:21 a.m. and 8:36 p.m.

Miami Harbor will have high tides at 7:44 a.m. and 7:59 p.m.

Forecasts say that the best chance for areas to deal with flooding are Friday and this weekend, but drivers and residents are reminded to be on the lookout and not drive or walk through flooded areas.
