Here's What Jack Antonoff Had To Say About Those Lorde Dating Rumors

Super-producer and Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff wants nothing to do with those rumors that he left Lena Dunham, you know, his relationship of five years, to date frequent collaborator/friend Lorde, as per a recent message on Twitter.

"Normally I would never address rumors but I resent having the most important friendships and working relationships in my life reduced to dumb hetero normative gossip," he told his 145,000 followers on Wednesday night (January 17). "Those relationships are deeply important and sacred. with that said, i’m not seeing anyone. lol."

Rumors of the pair shacking up started after Dunham reportedly deleted an old Instagram post, which was dedicated to the pop star and her time spent in Antonoff and Dunham's apartment to record her sophomore effort, Melodrama. Dunham also broke her silence about her split from Antonoff via a recent Instagram Live session, admitting that she's going to hold onto the the ring that he gave her. "I'll always wear it, because love is a really cool, powerful, eternal thing and it doesn't have to be defined the way we in Western culture define it as beginnings and ends," Lena told fans. "Things can be 'you're a drop of water and you re-enter the ocean. Anyway, I really love you all and I'm really thankful for the support, really thankful for the love."

Just a day after Lena's Instagram Live session, US Weekly reported that Antonoff had already moved on to someone new and his new interest was none other than a musician. However, based on Antonoff's recent tweet, it seems like there's no romance at all happening for the multi-talent.
