Drake Addresses Blackface Photo From Pusha T's “The Story of Adidon"

The Pusha T and Drake beef all started last week when Pusha dropped his new album "Daytona" and subtly took shots at Drake on the song "Infrared" saying  "It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin", referring to Quentin Miller who back in 2016 was thought to be the OVO rappers alleged ghostwriter. Drake wasted no time responding to Pusha's diss as he released "Duppy Freestyle" on the same day of the album's release. On the record, the Toronto rapper took shots at Pusha on his friendship with Kanye West, questioning the fact if he really sold drugs, as well as addressing the Quentin Miller Rumors again saying:

"And as for Q, man, I changed his life a couple times N**** was at Kroger workin' double time, Y'all actin' like he made the boy when I was tryna help the guy Yeah, who gassed you to play with me? Man, you made this s*** as easy as ABCs Whoever supposedly makin' me hits, but then got no hits sound like they need me"

In the song, Drake also referred to Pusha T's friendship with Kanye West and even name-dropped his fiance. Pusha T did not take to kindly to Drake having his future wife's name in his mouth and came back with the heat in his diss track “Story of Adidon". On the record Pusha T reveals to the world that Drake has a secret child with a woman from France and that he has been hiding it for some time now. Not only did he takes shot at Drake for being a bad father, he also came for Drakes friend and producer  Noah "40" Shebib, Drakes producer who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2005, 40 also responded to the diss on Twitter because yesterday was Multiple Sclerosis awareness day.

One of the craziest parts about the record didn't even come from the record itself as the album art for the diss track featured a seemingly old photo of the Toronto rapper in Blackface. In what many thought was a photoshopped picture turned out to be a real photo taken of the rapper. Pusha T even commented on the photo after dropping the record on twitter saying "Please stop referring to this picture as “artwork”...I’m not an internet baby, I don’t edit images...this is a REAL picture...these are his truths, see for yourself", while attaching the link to the website of the Toronto photographer to took the picture.

While we are all waiting for Drake to fire back at Pusha T for his diss record, it seems as if he wants to clear up the Blackface photo controversy before anything. Taking to his Instagram story last night (May 30th) the Toronto rapper posted a lengthy note to his fans explaining the meaning behind the picture and what it was supposed to represent.
