There's a time and place, Tamar Braxton.
On Thursday (October 25), the "My Man" singer took upon herself to leave a shady comment on a birthday post dedicated to Monica.
It all started with Shante Broadus, Snoop Dogg's wife posting an Instagram video in celebration of Monica's 38th birthday. "Happy Birthday To My "Day One" My BFF," Shante captioned the post, which featured photos of her and Monica over the years. Tamar then felt it appropriate to randomly comment, "Sheon like me for whatever [reason] but I love her and her movement #strongchicksunite."
One of Monica's friends was quick to run to her defense, replying to Tamar's comment: "Don't start you sh*t on my homegirl's birthday. Please sit your a** all the way down. Thanks, management!"
While Tamar claims to be unaware of why Monica doesn't like her, she seemed pretty clear about how their feud started while on The Wendy Williams Show back in September 2017. “I’m gonna go back to the day when everybody got in their feelings and wrote books about me unfollowing them,” Tamar told Wendy, referencing her feud with Toya Wright. “I unfollowed Monica, I unfollowed Tiny, I unfollowed Kandi [Burruss]…I unfollowed everybody that day that [Toya] posted THAT show [“The Real”]," she explained. "I was rightfully in my feelings, it was nothing personal." Adding, "She [Monica] wasn’t even on “The Real” that day, I unfollowed everybody because I didn’t wanna see it. I had every [intention] of following everybody back. I unfollowed at least 30 people that day, [but] when I went to follow her back she had blocked me.”
