Chinese National Appeals Conviction On Charges Related To Mar-a-Lago Case

Special Counsel Robert Mueller Submits Russia Probe Report To A.G. Bill Barr

A Chinese woman accused of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago is appealing her conviction.

A jury this month acquitted Jing Lu of trespassing at the president's Palm Beach estate, but found her guilty of resisting arrest without violence when a police officer approached her later that December day on Worth Avenue.

The woman was sentenced to six months in jail and faces likely deportation following her time behind bars.

Jing wants an appeals court to review a decision allowing prosecutors to dismiss two potential jurors during jury selection.
