WATCH: Broward Relaxes Some Restrictions

Broward County residents are being rewarded for having a coronavirus positivity rate of 5% or less for at least two weeks.

Mayor Dale Holness says banquet halls and ballrooms can reopen at 50% capacity as long as there are no more than 100 people in a room.

The new emergency order allows organized sporting events like high school athletics and little league to welcome back fans. While non-organized sports can resume at parks as long as ten or fewer participate. Certain restrictions remain for both.

Guest restrictions are being lifted at apartment complexes and home owners associations.

Restaurant counters can be reopened to seating, as long as alcohol isn't served. Performers can return as long as they stay at least 10 feet from guests. Bars and clubs will remain closed.
