There will be no spring training games played in Florida until at least March 5.
Major League Baseball has canceled the first week of spring training through the 4th as the lockout is in its 79th day.
Talks between MLB management and the MLB Players Association lasted just 15 minutes on Thursday.
More talks are expected on Monday, when Major League Baseball says members of the owners' negotiating committee will attend the session.
Exhibition games had been set to start on February 26 and pitchers and catchers had been scheduled to start showing up this week.
The start of the regular season at the end of March is also in jeopardy
