Dave Chappelle addressed the Netflix controversy about his comedy special "The Closer". He spoke to an audience of supporters and said that what has been portrayed in the media isn't true.
Dave addressed the LGBTQ community directly and said that he is willing to talk to them regardless if the media said he's not willing to listen.
Dave also said that he is not going to bend to anyone's rules and he thanks Ted Sardanos the CEO of Neflix for not cancelling him.
Even though it appears that Dave is being "cancelled" for his comments in his Neflix special...it does seem like he has a lot of support at his live performances.
