Who knew that the ridges on the edges of Ritz Crackers served a purpose? Not me! First introduced in the early 1900s by the Jackson Cracker Company where they were known as "Jaxons" (not very original), then bought by Nabisco and re-branded as Ritz Crackers, they have become one of America's favorite crackers. But what about the ridges? It turns out they are used to cut cheese! Yep!
