Bridesmaid accused of “upstaging” the bride by altering her dress
There are some responsibilities you have as a bridesmaid, but one of the most important, if not, THE most important rule is, you do NOT upstage the bride! No engagements, no baby announcements and no altering your dress in such a way that it takes all of the attention off of the bride and puts it onto yourself! That is what happened here. Now look, are bridesmaid dresses the most beautiful thing in the world? No! They are meant to compliment the bride, not upstage her. This bridesmaid took a "frumpy" green dress and not only did she make it shorter, but she made the dress have a plunging neckline with SO much cleavage showing!
