These are the most “offensive” Halloween costumes according to parents
There are a lot of rules now when it comes to Halloween and most parents don't want to offend anyone, so they are being a little more careful this year when it comes to costumes for their kids and themselves. Topping the most offensive costumes is anything involving cultural appropriation. To do it in a mocking, or even a fun way is wrong according to parents, so no kids dressed like a Native American, unless they are in fact Native American and so on. Parents want to stay away from "controversial figures" as costumes too, but opinions on who exactly IS a controversial figure varies. A lot of parents say that characters like superheroes, or Disney characters are safe bets and plan on dressing their kids up in harmless costumes that are sure not to offend anyone.
