I know what you're thinking, usually candy and working out do NOT go hand-in-hand, but according to science it can and who am I to argue with science? On this Halloween weekend, I have an article expressing how some candies are actually beneficial for you, both before and after a workout. The thing is, carbohydrates found in some candy, eaten before and after exercise can improve performance, support recovery, and boost protein synthesis to build muscle!
