This year’s Thanksgiving will be the most expensive ever
It seems like EVERY year an article comes out saying it is going to be the most expensive Thanksgiving ever. I mean, if you look at actual dollars being spent, the cost does go up every year, due to increases and cost of living, etc, but this year is especially expensive thanks to a few factors. First, we are coming off of a pandemic and people are excited to gather together and in that excitement, we will overspend. Next is the fact that there is a shortage of EVERTHING right now! A nationwide labor shortage means there are less people to harvest the goods we eat on Turkey Day, also less drivers to deliver them to stores and less people to staff those stores anyway. You see? Kind of like the perfect crap storm that is sure to make our Thanksgiving and any other holidays the most expensive ever. Check out more here
