Bride asks guests to Venmo money to pay for the wedding
You can probably classify this as "the tackiest thing EVER", where a bride is asking her wedding guests to Venmo her cash, so she and her husband can pay for their wedding. Look, I get it...you have imagined and dreamed of your big day for a long time, years in fact, but if you can't afford the big wedding with the breathtaking venue, with the ultimate reception with everything being the biggest and the best, then you HAVE to stick to what you CAN afford. Besides, do you want to blow EVERYTHING on one day? Weddings are important, don't get me wrong, but in my opinion, too much emphasis has been placed on luxury weddings and it's enough to make people go broke. But if you are going to have that kind of wedding, the LEAST you can do is pay for it yourself, or have a family member pay for it, but you certainly do NOT ask your guests who you invited to celebrate your day to pay for it, absolutely not.
