How gross is it to wear your outside clothes to bed?
Seriously, how gross is it to wear your outside clothes to bed? Pretty gross as it turns out! Your clothes are a vessel for all kinds of nasty crap that you've picked up in the outside world and now you are bringing that into your most sacred of environments, your bed??? It doesn't make any sense! Your clothes are holding dust and dirt and possible contagions and pathogens. i don't know about you, but I'd rather keep that OUT of my bed. Most people try to keep a clean sleep space. Most people have clean sheets, blankets, comforters, pillowcases, etc and I'm sure if you asked them if they wanted to track all kinds of nastiness into their beds, they'd probably say "no". Experts DO say that it won't actually HURT you to wear your outside clothes to bed, but your should definitely avoid doing so if your clothes are visibly dirty, sweaty, or smell...gross. More here
