Buh-bye slutty green M&M
The M&M's characters are getting a makeover and as part of the fallout, the slutty green M&M is now gone. With her long lashes and let's face it, hoe heels, she doesn't fit in with what the company is calling a “more dynamic, progressive world". If you remember most of the commercials, she bossed the others around and acted better than they were, simply because she was more attractive and M&M/Mars no longer wants to send that message. Their new mascots aren't necessarily a redesign of their looks, more their personalities. No more toxic traits for these M&M's, they will be more vulnerable and inclusive and "throwing shine, not shade". They said we will see M&M's of all shapes and sizes, moving away from only one body size, and it will remove the prefixes from the characters' names in order to focus on "their personalities, rather than their gender."
