Ways to channel your childhood to find happiness
It's a cold, cruel world sometimes and those are the times we just want to curl up in a ball and stop adulting. The key is to hold on to a piece of your childhood. That same wonder and delight and indulging in the things you loved as a kid does wonders for your mental health! Here are some of the things you can do to channel your childhood:
Make a mix tape or CD- make a playlist like you used to do it, with music you loved back in the day. It'll help you reconnect to a simpler time
Watch cartoons- not necessarily cartoons for adults, but shows that used to make you happy as a kid. You'd be surprised at how happy they can still make you
Color- nothing channels your inner child and relieves stress like coloring...try it
Watch one of your favorite comedy movies- going back and watching movies you loved, especially those that made you laugh is an instant mood boost
