Weber apologizes for a poorly-timed recipe

Weber BBQ apologized for a poorly-timed recipe that was emailed to customers just HOURS after singer Meatloaf died. You guessed it, they sent out a recipe for meatloaf. Marvin Lee Aday, aka Meatloaf died on Thursday the 20th of complications from COVID-19 and on Friday morning BBQ giant Weber sent out a recipe for grilled meatloaf in their weekly recipe email. They claim they didn't know he had passed on Thursday night and released the following statement: "In today's email we highlighted a grilled meatloaf recipe. At the time we shared this recipe with you, we were not aware of the unfortunate passing of American singer and actor Mr Marvin Lee Aday, also known as Meat Loaf. We want to express our deepest apologies for this oversight and for any offense this email may have caused." Just a coincidence that they quickly apologized for, but yikes! More here
