There is ZERO doubt that people LOVE their pets! Our furry friends are MORE than friends actually, they're family. So when people who have pets start dating, it's super important that they vibe well with the pet too. In fact, there are some dating deal breakers when it comes to pet parents. More than 70% see something wrong with a person who doesn't see a pet as a member of the family. 3 out of 5 think keeping a pet in a crate all day is a BIG no-no (duh) and 52% will judge you if you DON'T allow your pet on the furniture. Interesting too is that 73% of people, regardless of relationship status, would approach someone walking a dog and almost half (49%) said their dog was their "wingman". Pet-lovers are also more likely to swipe on a dating app profile with a pet in it and half of people would also like to go on a dog-friendly date. People are integrating their pets more and more into their lives as more places are allowing our furry family members, with a variety of pet-friendly businesses and locations.
