When cops ask for your license, don’t hand over a liquor store gift card
When getting pulled over, suspected of DUI, it certainly does NOT help your case when you hand over a liquor store gift card when the officer asks you for your license. I'm not a lawyer or anything, but that is pretty much an admission of guilt. The woman in question is 19-years-old and was pulled over for driving "erratically". When asked for her license, she instead handed over a gift card to a liquor store. I don't know if she was attempting to bribe the officer, or the more likely story is she was so drunk that she actually thought she was handing over her license, but ne thing is clear, officers could smell alcohol and she also failed roadside tests. After being taken in, it became evident that she was in fact over the limit and no word on whether she got to keep that gift card or not. God knows she could use a drink after all this. More here
