Do you think you can pass the "Old Man Test"? It's gone viral on TikTok with a lot of people trying (and failing) to do what seems like a simple task. The test goes like this: you take off both shoes and socks and set them on the floor in front of you. While keeping one foot raised the ENTIRE time, you put on each sock and out on each shoe without putting that foot down and then do the same for the other foot. It takes balance and dexterity and many of you cannot do it, old or not! This balance test uses distraction and multitasking to evaluate your single leg balance, stability, mobility, and concentration. If you fail this test, it means you have poor balance and stability in your lower extremities and a weak core. But fear not, these are things you can work on!
