We could be getting a food truck park!
Yep! We might be getting a food truck PARK in Ft. Myers!! If all goes according to plan, a food truck park will open near Fleamasters on MLK. Mayor Kevin Anderson talked about plans recently and thinks it'll be great for the city and people of SWFL. Many agree, but some don't. The owner of one food truck had two problems with it...one is he likes the ability to be on-the-go. He likes seeing different places and seeing different clientele. The other problem he has is dishonoring the restaurants at the flea market. His feeling is that it will take away from the restaurants at the flea market, some of which have been in business for years. I agree that a food truck park would be great! Maybe have rotating food trucks, so the owners can get out and on the move, plus adding constantly changing different flavors and maybe find a different location that won't cannibalize local businesses. I think it is a great idea to have a food truck park somewhere and you can see more here
