Nic Cage wants to join The Batman universe as an absurd villain
Nic Cage is a very interesting person and he said recently in an interview that he would like to join "The Batman" universe as a villain, but his choice was the ODDEST choice of Batman villain EVER:
“The villain that Vincent Price played on the 1960s show, Egghead, I think I want to have a go at Egghead. I think I can make him absolutely terrifying. And I have a concept for Egghead. So let them know over at Warner Bros., I’m down for Egghead.”
Egghead was created for and first introduced in the incredibly cheesy 1960s Batman TV series. Meaning, this character, who only appeared a few times on the old TV show, was NEVER a part of the Batman universe before, or since and was only introduced on the comically bad series is the "supervillain" Nic Cage thinks he should get a "crack" at. Honestly if Nicolas Cage wants to play an absurd character in a movie, he should just play himself...oh wait, he is! More here
