Are we getting another stimmy because of gas prices?
Could we be getting MORE stimulus money due to high gas prices? I mean, why don't they just LOWER the gas prices? Think about it, the actual price of oil goes relatively unchanged, so these suppliers and our government are the ones profiting, but that is nothing new. What is new is this, the so-called "he Gas Rebate Act of 2022" being proposed now would give you a $100 rebate to offset the high cost of fuel. At the time of this article, the average national gas price was at $4.24 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association. People in Georgia and Maryland were given some relief after lawmakers halted the taxes on fuel last Friday. So, we might be getting some money, but for the government to be proposing this, it must mean they know that gas prices won't be going down too much any time soon. Dang. More here
