10 Things Women Don’t Understand About How Men Text
The first thing you need to know about us men and texting is that we hate it. Like REALLY hate it, but you seem to love it, so we do what we can. However, there are some things you need to realize about how we text, so good thing I'm here to lay it out for you! Here are 10 things women don't understand about how we text:
1) We Like it Short and Sweet- seeing as we already hate texting, we like to keep the interaction brief and easy breezy! Believe me, us being short isn't a BAD thing
2) We're Not Marathon Men- meaning, refer to rule 1. Long texts are definitely NOT our thing and trust me, the longer our text goes, the worse and more unintelligible it is
3) The Filter Goes Away When We Like You- a lot of guys tend to be calculating when we text. But, if a guy really likes you, the filter goes away. If his texts sound stupid, consider the possibility that he REALLY likes you
4) The Longer the Wait, the Better (Sometimes)- this usually means he has broken from his routine and is actually THINKING about what to respond to you
5) More Can be Better (for Some)- ok, so MOST guys don't like to text, certainly not long texts, but if you get these from a guy, it means he's into you for sure
6) We Hate Emojis- 'nuff said
7) We Prefer if You'd Take it Easy on the Abbreviations- for a lot of guys, especially since we don't like to text much don't know the abbreviations. It's like a foreign language to us
8) Please Text Us First- again, it goes back to us hating texting, so just please
9) We Keep the Questions Coming if We Like You- true. The more we want to know, the more we like you.
10) Texting Shouldn't be a Deal Breaker- please cut us a LITTLE slack, we hate it and we're not good at it. Let our actions speak for us
