Socks on the beach, yes or no?
I THOUGHT the answer to this question was obvious, NO to socks on the beach. I mean, why? Why would you wear socks to the beach? You might wear slides, or flip flops, or even Crocs or water shoes, but SOCKS on the BEACH?? According to this, people are divided on this topic. To be honest, I have seen people wearing socks on the beach and I have often wondered why. I mean, not just socks with shoes on, I mean, just wearing socks on the beach. For what reason could people possibly do this? According to the story there are apparently some socks with rubber soles that protect against the hot sand, but short of that, all you're doing is getting your socks all wet and sandy.
