Who’s eating dip by the spoonful?
I love a good dip that's for sure, but I don't know if I could eat it by the spoonful! Americans have very strong feelings about dip. In fact, it turns out that six out of ten of us have NO PROBLEM eating dip with a spoon right out of the container. However, if we HAVE to dip SOMETHING into the dip, we prefer tortilla chips (40%), potato chips (38%), vegetables (36%) and pita bread (32%). Also, we love dips SO much that 35% of us would give up a normal meal to have an entire meal of dips and things to dip into the dips. We need dips at parties too. Not want, NEED. Most popular party dips? Salsa and guacamole are tied for number one at 32%, followed by spinach and artichoke dip 29%, queso 28%, Buffalo dip 27% and hummus at 25%.
