Pepsi has announced that their lemon-lime offering, Sierra Mist is going away. Now, this isn't one of those "go away until fans riot and we bring it back" things, Pepsi is replacing it with another soda
Pepsi has decided to give us a DIFFERENT lemon-lime soda in its place and we're going from the mountains to space with their new beverage that they call "Starry". Pepsi's new soda is going to go head-to-head with lemon-lime competitors Sprite (a Coca-Cola beverage) and 7-Up (a Dr. pepper beverage). Sprite is the most popular, but Pepsi hopes to bring the giant down with Starry. So how is Starry DIFFERENT from Sierra Mist? A PepsiCo representative said Starry has “higher citrus flavors that are true to fruit and more aromatic which delivers a more balanced, cleaner, crisp finish than Sierra Mist.” See more here
